The transaction details, including the financial aspects, were not disclosed in the press release issued by Scientific Games Corp. on Wednesday. The New South Wales-based business now joins the expanding portfolio of Scientific Games Corp., enhancing their presence in the gaming industry and further solidifying their position as a major player in the market. A long-standing partnership

Scientific Games stated that the two parties had a longstanding partnership before the agreement, facilitating a smooth integration of the entities.

The announcement characterizes the merger as a "significant achievement" in Scientific Games' "strategic roadmap to evolve into a thriving company fueled by quality content" while embracing a "multi-platform" strategy.

Scientific Games emphasized its strategic focus on digital markets to maximize its "greatest growth opportunities," according to the statement.

Lightning Box presently provides live operations with more than 50 esteemed gaming brands from America, Canada, and Europe, such as BetMGM, FanDuel, William Hill, and Betsson.

Peter Causley, CEO and co-founder of Lightning Box Games, expressed his excitement about joining the Scientific Games team in a recent statement. In July, Scientific Games made a proposal to purchase the outstanding 19% stake in SciPlay Corp, a digital gaming company, that it does not currently possess.

At the end of June, the company made an announcement regarding its strategic review, stating its intention to divest its lottery and sports betting activities. As part of this decision, the US-listed company expressed its plan to prioritize its land-based gaming, online gaming, and SciPlay activities going forward.
